- Dated chase plans Enter your invoice details and get a complete follow-up schedule with dates from today onward. Each step has a tone that escalates naturally — from friendly reminder to final notice.
- Message drafts you can copy and send Every plan includes full message drafts with subject lines, invoice references, and amounts filled in. Copy individual drafts to your clipboard or download the whole plan as a text file.
- Customisable step count and intervals Choose 1 to 10 chase steps. Intervals adjust based on how the client usually responds — from 2 days for someone who ignores everything to 7 days for a new client.
- Late-fee integration If your contract includes a late fee, enter it. Chaseplan includes it in the draft language starting at the second follow-up.
- Stop-chasing decision point Every plan tells you when to stop — a date after which continued pursuit is unlikely to be worth the relationship or the effort.

"If it's free, what's the catch? Are you selling my data?"
There is no catch. The tool is free because it costs almost nothing to operate — it is a static HTML page with JavaScript. There is no server, no database, no account system. There is nothing to sell because there is nothing to collect. If you want proof, open the page with your network tab visible: no data leaves the page.
"Will you add a paid tier later and break the free version?"
The product is complete as it is. There are no plans for a paid tier, premium features, or subscription. The tool does one thing — generate a chase plan — and does not need a revenue model because it has no hosting costs. If the project ever needs funding, it will be through voluntary support, not by paywalling existing features.
"How do you make money?"
We do not. Chaseplan was built to solve a specific frustration for freelancers and is maintained as a public resource. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no referral programmes. If you find it useful, tell another freelancer — that is the only compensation that matters.
"What if I want to support the project?"
The best way to support Chaseplan is to use it and share it with someone who needs it. There is no donation page, no Patreon, no GitHub sponsor link — not because we do not appreciate support, but because the tool should stand on its own utility, not on guilt or obligation.
